job issues

Ok, so one of the jobs I really really want is to be a Humane officer (like aspca type stuff). Anyway, I called the closest shelter to us (1 hour and a half) and they might be hiring soon. The officer on duty suggested I call and talk to the supervisor on tuesday (which I plan to do). Ok, here's the main issues.
1) I have my AA in criminal justice, however I graduated in 05 with it, and havn't been back to school since. I planned to go back to college this fall to complete my BA. However if I do get hired, I will need to switch schools so I can be closer to my work.

2) The current job I have has asked me to not leave until Aug (since I decided to stay with them this year, instead of leaving in feb like originally planned)

3) I will have to go through an interview process with the supervisor, then a ride along if the interview goes well...then interviewed by a board *I think that's what he said*. Well, I am terrible when being interviewed. I've never really had to be. Not even for my current job...it was more just me talking to the owner, not realizing it was the owner and getting a call 3 hours later saying I'm hired. O_O;; Basically, I get really really REALLY nervous with the thought of being itnerviewed.

ok...so now that that's all said and done. I basically need prayer for God's guidance and timing. I don't want to leave this job until August like I had said I would, but I also don't want to stay if God wants me to leave. =_= so, that's my prediciment.

Will pray, Bakura.
Just try not to think about it so much --then you'll be more relaxed during your interview. I know how anxiety-producing those things are.
May God open doors where He wants to and close those He wants closed.

Keep us updated so we know how it goes, ok?

I don't know if you are looking for interview advice, but I have a few tidbits that might make you less nervous...

The key to interviewing well is poise - which virtually always comes with preparedness. Find out the organization's mission statement, and be sure to present yourself accordingly. Also, assume you are the perfect fit for the job, and at least appear to have confidence - even if you don't really HAVE that confidence.

HIH!
