I have been pushing digital photography major at college and one of my CIS teacher really wants to see this happen, since we are both onto digital photography work.
There is going to be a big meeting with the people that run each department at the college tomorrow and the CIS teacher is going to pitch this idea.
We both would like to see this happen and maybe end up being a digital art major.
I just wanted to ask if anyone would pray that this gets pass tommorrow.

Footprints in the sand by Carolyn Joyce Carty
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of foot prints in the sand: one belonging to him the other to the lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the foot prints in the sand.
He noticed that name times along the path of his life there was only one set o footprints.
He also noticed that it was at the lowest and saddest times of his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the lord about it:
"lord, you said once i decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But i have noticed during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of foot prints. I dont understand why when i needed you most you would leave me."
The lord replied:
"My son, my precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that i carried you."

Update:
It looks like my college will start a digital photography major in the fall, but its not 100% sure yet, but its about a 90 to 95% go.
It may end up as a digital art major, since the college just got a deal with Adobe in being a college that teaches Adobe software programs full time.

The Digital Photographer Technical Certificate of Credit program is designed to provide students with an understanding of the principles of digital photography. Digital photography is among one of the most desirable self-employment opportunities today. Students will learn photography theory fundamentals,background, theory, history, and the applications of technology. Students will become skilled in the techniques of lighting and posing of individuals and will gain the knowledge of concepts and techniques applied to commercial and advertising photography.
Yeah, it took them about a year to get this going. XD
