Lately, I've been worrying (as if that's something new ). Worrying about a lot of stuff --mostly stuff in the future. Like how I'm going to be able to get a job in the wildlife field having a service dog.
But today was very encouraging for me in that respect. I got an opportunity to visit a wildlife management facility run by Texas Parks and Wildlife. I talked with the guy (he was young, and had been there only 7 months) and he gave me a lot of good advice on working in the field. He told me what degree/classes I need to find employment with TPW and told me I was on the right path having an internship. He talked about the wildlife education part of TPW and it sounded like a cool job. I'm just not sure I want to get my Masters or not --I'm kind of tired of school --but I'll look into the wildlife education programs available and see.
He then took us on a personal tour of the facility. It was so much fun!
So now I feel a lot better about my field choice. I know that there's a place for me in it --I just need to do research and call around.
Now if only I could stop worrying about everything else.
