I had looked up my textbooks for the coming semester on the website for the bookstore I normally buy my books from. They were $277.00 all together. I was freaking out about how I was going to buy my books (I have to use my refund from the Spring for my rabies shots).
Then I looked on Half.com and the same books were a total of $92.00. So I snatched them up!! Dude, I just saved almost $200!!! One book was $62 and I found it on Half.com for $0.75. I'm so glad I didn't have to pay $118 for a Chemistry book!! Praise God!
Now all I need to get in the Spring is my Chemistry lab manual (made by the University) and probably a notes packet for my Livestock Evaluation class. Both together should be under $40.

So for you kids in college or about to be, here's a word of wisdom: Buy your textbooks online. You will save a lot of money.

Wow, that sure is a huge difference! That is awesome, and I am glad it worked out well :)

I know my friends here were freaking out over the price of books two years ago, but they found out about the greatness of online buying. It's something else!

Just be careful you get the right revision. You wouldn't want an old one with out-of-date problems or something. In my experience, the book listings for college classes mention this. If not, you have to go to the college bookstore and take notes.
