Prayer for better faith

All Christians can use more faith, but recently I just had a run in with the bad stuff. Ya know, that "It's Christmas, so lets talk about Jesus and start dissecting things" stuff that non-believers use to make us change our minds.

Now obviously that's not going to work, it's just stupid. Jesus not only lived, but I'm pretty sure even most non-believers will admit He did all this amazing stuff. In the end they're just too dang stubborn to accept a normal person isn't capable of those abilities and...well...ya. That's just stupid.

Either way, unfortunately it did make me think of some stuff before the channel got changed and I just ask for prayer on that. I not only desire more faith, but assurance of that faith and the ability to resist and ignore the doubts satan puts on this earth.

Also extra prayer for tiny personal issues would be nice as well, but the faith part is the most important. ^^;

Sure thing.

There's an endless string of these things out there, trying to "scientifically" explain (sometimes explain away) such things as the Great Flood, the Parting of the Red Sea, the Plagues of Egypt, etc. So it's not just Christians but Jews also that get beat up over this. Personally, I ignore it. Most of these things are highly conjectural and not scientific at all. It's really a waste of time trying to prove out faith this way, since for every "proof" theory, there's someone else with "evidence" that will disprove it.

I think we definitely can all use a stronger faith than we have now :)

I would advise you not to ignore your doubts but to explore them. Understanding them will strengthen your faith immensely because you will be less dogmatic. (At least, that has held true for me so far. :))
(and please don't call people with different beliefs stupid; it won't help.)

I will pray, both that your faith will be strengthened and for your personal issues.
