I promised yesterday that I would post and tell you guys how God provided this weekend! So I will!
Yesterday I went with my friend Lori to my friends' wedding shower. My friend Bonnie is the bride. (It's taking time to sink in --she's getting married!)I told her about my situation (needing a better-paying job to make ends meet) and she sent me an email with current staff positions available at my university. So there are some definite possibilities there. I'm going to go take a typing test today (for the secretary-like positions).

After the wedding shower, we went to Bonnie's mom's house so Lori could do laundry (Lori is Bonnie's cousin). Bonnie's mom is so incredibly hospitable. The love of God definitely shows through her. Well, Lori and I told her about my situation (learning to be an adult--kind of scary and how I needed somewhere to stay over Thanksgiving and Christmas b/c I cannot stay in my dorm) --Bonnie's mom was like "Well, you can stay here with us!"

It was like, wow. So in between Lori (for a couple of nights) and Bonnie's mom and dad, I will have somewhere to stay over the holidays. Praise God!:jump:

Wow, that's totally awesome! x3

I never posted in any of your threads, but I have read your situation. That's so great! Looks like the prayers have been working. ^^

Well, that's some instant stress reduction, for sure. Praying for the good job.

Just a side note: that's exactly where the word 'holiday' comes from. So those people who are trying to push Christmas out by saying "Happy Holidays" don't realize they're really saying "Happy Holy Days" or at least a derivative of it.

Anyways, back to this regularly scheduled thread.
