School band needing prayer
Some of my school band members are going for something called the Distric Carnival and they have to audition, and The music is really really REALLY HARD! And Me and my schools band would really apprecitate the prayer. The auditions are on October 13, and they are not ready yet. So Please PLEASE Pray that the band auditions go well. Thank you.
Footprints in the sand by Carolyn Joyce Carty
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of foot prints in the sand: one belonging to him the other to the lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the foot prints in the sand.
He noticed that name times along the path of his life there was only one set o footprints.
He also noticed that it was at the lowest and saddest times of his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the lord about it:
"lord, you said once i decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But i have noticed during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of foot prints. I dont understand why when i needed you most you would leave me."
The lord replied:
"My son, my precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that i carried you."

I really haven't been in a school band before (I'm homeschooled...go figure), but I have to spend a lot of time and energy practicing piano, so I know music is harder then most ppl think. I can't imagine how long it takes about 50 (or less..or more...again I'm homeschooled so, I don't know) musicians to play and move together in perfect unison, but know that I'll be praying....

I was in band for a few years, but the teacher was a jerk, so I quit... I miss my clarinet! D:

I play the clarinet too. (i'm in the band and am one of the band members that needs prayer) and i agree with danderson most people think its so easy to play an instrument. anyway thanks for the prayer. =)

as the time raws nearer they are needed more prayer, some of the people, I don't think will be able to play their parts. I know how that goes, I was in band for about 3 years, but this year I took a break. This music, is beyond my playing level, and some of the people's who are in the band this year. Please please please pray that they get their parts, I really want them to do a good job on this audition. thank you to all who have prayed. It's nice to know that you care.
