for the sake of my friend

*takes a deep breath*
alright, i guess the best way to do this is to just post what happened.
alright. it was friday night and me and my very very dear friend (dear to me like i have thoughts of marrying her one day) were at a flyleaf concert in my hometown and we ended up hanging out outside of the venue because it was so small and was way too loud. while we were hanging out my friend got a call from her mom that her uncle was in the hospital and that he was dying. needless to say we went there as fast as we could and shortly after we got there a doctor came into her family's waiting room and announced to her family that her uncle was dead.
i love this young lady very much and i don't know that i will ever forget the image or the sounds of her crying on the way to the hospital. i thank God that i was there to offer even a little bit of comfort to her when she needed it and i honestly hope that i can be forgiven if there was something that i should have done that i failed to do. my heart's grieved enough to break over this, yet at the same time i don't know that i would ask to change anything except to take my friends pain away.
anyways, all i ask is for those to read this to pray as the Lord leads you to pray, especially for the family of the man who died. it would mean a great deal to me. thank you all.
