Definitely praying. Few years ago back here (California) we had a huge fire started by an arsonist. One of my dearest friends could see the flames and burning ash right from his driveway.

I'll be praying for bakura_fan and her family's safety, and that the fire stops real soon.

well, I am actually with my mother in law...luckily my parents are not near the fires in any way shape or form. Basically the police and firefighters had to evacuate because the fire was too much. At the time it was burning very close to our neighbors ranch, where her son has 30 head of cattle, and my mother in law has two horses. My mother in law went up with one of the firefighters to open the gates so they could run away if they had to. Luckily their neighbor green had already opened every fence. So with that concern gone, the next concern was, the neighbors up there with the 2 x-large ful propane tanks. There was no one home, but we were concerned as to what would happen if the fire got to it. The dogs woke me up around 5 so I decided to check on the fire. The glow over the hill had gone down, but I don't know if that's due to them putting the fire out, or if it's just redirected itself again. Right now, our sun is blood red...creepy....yet cool.

Thanks for your prayers and for ssjgohan posting this. I had to let my brothers in law use the computer last night..so...yeah...=_= lol. Anyway, I'll try to update as I come across things. But please keep this area (eastern WA) in your prayers. We are not scheduled for rain, and we have so much dry, dead brush around here....let's just say...we can't take too many more fires. From what I remember...the police officer I talked to, and the fireman my mother in law talked to, said that they had 600+ firefighters working on this fire...and they had to borrow firefighters from montana. =_=; so yes...please keep us in your prayers. thank you.

UPDATE: The ranch is burning...I think they said the horses are trapped. We have to somehow go in and rescue them! Please pray!

Alright the two horses are ok. We got them down just fine. We did a sweep of the property and all 30 heads of cattle are appointed for...just randomly scattered. Luckily the fire hasn't reached the main part of the ranch....yet. It burned the back part of the wheat field near what they call the "river pasture" It's across the street from the ranch, and it runs along the columbia behind the dam. So please continue to pray, the fires have been increasing around here.

GYAH! OK....I'm at work...and yesterday i could jsut see an orange glow behind the mountains....now...flames! The fire has burnt it's way to the top of the mountain and is heading down the other side...on the other side of those mountains is the residential area...the highschool, elementary school, and buisnesses. ;-; I don't know the extent of it...but just seeing the flames means that things have now gotten even more dangerous. so please, continue the prayers. >_<

Edit: ok. so we don't know which hill it is at the moment. If it's behind the dam...it'll just hit the water eventually...if it's in front of the dam...it will hit the residential area...
