I'm taking the GED test over the course of the next two days. My mother's been wanting me to get it over with for the longest time, and I sorta do, too. I'm actually much more eager to go ever since I took a practice test and scored 3,660 on it; if that's any indication of how I'll perform on the real thing, then getting the 2,550 I need to pass the test will be a piece of cake! Nonetheless, I am sorta fearful of the writing section, and this means a lot to my future, and whatnot. So feel free to pray about this thingy.
Jus' a simple prayer for a friend...

Father God, I come to You now with Grant lifted up in prayer...
I ask You now to guide him through the GED, and to remind him that nothing is limited under Your power. This is in Your hands, oh Lord. I know all too well that when it comes to any sort of test, we can get overly anxious, excited, or nervous. Please don't allow these sort of emotions to distract Grant from the work he has to do! Keep him steady, focused, and absolutely ready with confidence, Father! Please...Keep him alert and able to pass the GED with little hassle. May it be done for Your will! Your guidance is above my own, Lord, give him the knowledge that I cannot...
In Jesus' Precious and holy name,
Amen!
There's that prayer I said I'd pray for you

Well. Today I took the writing portion of my GED tests. I HATE WRITING ESSAYS. I'm under a confidentiality agreement, so I can't get more specific, but I felt that the way I incorporated my life experiences into the essay topic at hand was terrible and mundane. I hated it. Then again, I hated my essay in the practice exams, too, and yet I scored a 660 out of 800. . . *shrugs* My realistic side suspects I'll pass the writing portion, but pray that I won't die of stress and panic before I get the results in two weeks. :\
I took the math portion today, also. It was much easier. And I have social studies, science, and reading, tomorrow.

Okay, I have completed the entire GED battery. Honestly, after how exasperated I was from that writing portion yesterday, remembering I had people praying for me was the biggest thing that kept me in the game. Now all I need to do is wait a couple of weeks for the results. It's truly out of my hands now; I did the best I could, so I just need to try and calm down now until I see the official scores I got.

I passed the GED.
*crickets chirp*
Yeah. Excitement. I actually got a 740 on Writing, which surprised me. 800 in math didn't surprise me as much. XD Overall, my total was 3560 out of a possible 4000. Yayyyyy.
