I need prayer and advice.

I've got a few problems. The first is that I'm lonely alot of the time. I often feel like i don't have anyone including God there with me. This doesn't help with my faith.
I've tried reading the bible more, but doing that hasn't helped me much. If i open it to a random page and start reading what i read seems nonsensical and irrelevant. An example: I just opened the bible to a random page and got exodus 29:31 - "Make the robe of the ephod entirely out of blue cloth." That verse seems meaningless to me.
I need prayer and advice on how to deal with my loneliness.
I have found one way that helps with my loneliness. H-games. H-games are usually dating sims where you play to get a girl and have sex with her. Playing these games helps me when i feel lonely. Of course they contain alot of sexual content which makes it very difficult for me not to lust. This takes me further from God.
So it's like a one-two punch Satan is dealing me. First the loneliness erodes my faith in God, then the H-games which help with the loneliness, but act to bring me even further from God.
I need prayer and advice on how to get closer to God.

I'll be praying. Remember that God is always right there with you, even when you can't feel His presence.
As far as Bible reading goes, don't open it up and start on some random verse. There are some devotionals out there that have select verses for certain areas in life (being afraid, loneliness, and so on). I'm sure there's a couple of them out there that'll interest you.
Feel free to PM me or talk to me online whenever you're stuck.

My advice:
1. Get rid of those friggin' disgusting games. Being lonely is no excuse for sin. And I've been lonely for most of my life, I know how it is.
2. Try starting a Bible reading plan, or don't just open to some random verse, but read the whole chapter.
Also, do you have IM? if so, IM someone here that you trust your issues to. I'm always open.
Like I said, praying.

How did I miss this the first time around? Hopefully you know I pray for you, now more specifically thanks to this thread.
As far as trouble with H-games, I recommend raising the threshold for playing them as high as possible. Are they on a console? Trash, break, or sell the games. Online? Use some kind of blocking software. Sure, you can just get around these things, but if you really wish to avoid something it helps to make it more difficult to do.

[color="DeepSkyBlue"]Hi, I want you to know that I am praying for you first of all.
I have dealt with the loneliness you are feeling before. I know it feels hard to stay true to your faith when you are lonely, but take it as a chance to get closer to God. God may have made you lonely at this point in your life because he wants you to strengthen your relationship with Him. Take time to read your Bible and pray each day. Also, I know a few people, including myself, that have had the loneliness problem and it ended up being a lesson from God. I believe the lesson was that we learned how it felt to be lonely so when we see others (at school or job, etc.) that are lonely or sitting alone at lunch we know how it feels. It helps to have that experience when you wanna go over and sit next to that "nerd" or "loner" type person. It taught me and my friends how to be friends to the people without them.
For the Bible thing, take time to pray before actually opening your Bible. Ask God to show you something that will help you in your life or someone else. I do this and everytime I open my Bible I find something interesting or a verse that I know I'll use. I also like to write verses on my mirror with expo pens. Its fun.
About those games you are playing. Get rid of them. Don't immerse yourself in impure things like that, even if you are lonely, read your Bible instead, pray, go outside for a walk, or you can even IM me if you want. I would like to help you.

As I read this, a thought occurred: Review these prayer threads (not yours) often and pray for the various people in here. Make some comments if you feel so moved. Praying for others creates an interesting connectedness to the whole Christian (in this case CAA) community. If you can get out of the house and do something along the lines of volunteer work (Christian focussed is good, but not required here), that will also help with the lonliness AND give you something else to do with your time than the H-games.
Get a prayer/partner to discuss your daily efforts with. This also will help the H-game avoidance issue because you will be accountable on a day-to-day basis.
I will pray for you.

[color="DeepSkyBlue"]Hi, first of all I want you to know that I am praying for you.
Okay, about the loneliness thing, I've been there too. When I was at a "lonely" part of my life it allowed me to strengthen my relationship with God. God may be trying to strengthen his relationship with you. Try taking the time each day to read your Bible and pray. I know a few people who went through the same thing and they have all said that they think God was doing that to them so that later when they weren't as lonely, they would know how the person sitting alone at lunch would feel. Having that experience can make you a more confident Christian when you try to go sit next to the "loner" or "nerd" who is always by themself. As Christians we want to set the best example we can for non-believers and set ourselves apart from the crowd.
For the Bible problem, I suggest praying before you read. Pray that God will show you a verse or scripture that is interesting or something you will use for your life. I do this and everytime I open my Bible I find something that I know I'll use or just a story that is pretty cool. I also like to journal the verses that the Holy Spirit points out to me in the scripture.
Umm...'bout the H-games...get rid of them. You shouldn't fill your mind or body with immoral things like that. Pray that God will give you the strength to turn them down. I know how hard temptation can be sometimes. Always remember to keep your Armor of God on too. Read Ephesians 6:10-20 to find out more. Instead of playing those games you should try to read your Bible and pray instead, spend quiet time with the Lord. Pray that God will give you the comfort you need while you are lonely. Have faith in Him no matter what. Steer away from sin.
I'll be praying for you! Hope you find some advice that you need here! Take care, you can message me if you need to.
