Friend's abusive dad got off...

So, my friend's Dad, who tried to choke my friend and has threatened him and his grandma (the grandma who endlessly tries to defend the father) was found "not guilty" of everything, including the choking... He's out and my friend doesn't know where he is... He's scared his dad will show up, and his grandma will let his dad do something to her or to him because that's her baby...

I'll pray for their protection and for some form of divine help in that abusive individual (who probably needs help himself - ppl don't just become abusive for no reason).
