Long, sad list

I have a sad list of prayer requests from my Mom, involving her fellow workers at the hospital.

One of the women has had a lot of sorrows in her life, and has just had another one. She had two girls who died of cystic fibrosis young, at two and ten, I believe, and recently her husband, who had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, killed himself when she left for work leaving her to bury him beside her two daughters. Please remember her.
Another women with two daughters, one of whom she was helping plan her wedding, had a massive brain aneurysm while getting the mail and wasn't found for three hours. The took her to our hospital first, then took her to the capital. The managed to repair the hemorrhage, but she had a stroke anyway. She wasn't expected to pull through, and since she had left instructions before she had the hemorrhage to not give her a feeding tube and they were about to pull the plug, when her daughter insisted she felt her mother squeeze her hand. Now she's still on the machines, and my mother and aunt (also works there) are very upset, especially since the women had been teasing before that she was the healthiest of the coworkers.
Another women has had a sick father for years that has had her brother and nephew living with him to help him. A short while ago, her brother passed unexpectedly, leaving her nephew to live with the father who is too ill to know the son is dead. Recently, the middle school aged son was taken by the state, because someone called child protective services claiming the grandfather wasn't a suitable guardian, and she can't go after him because she's laid up in the hospital with kidney stones.
Also, my mother took my grandfather to the hospital today, and addition to his failing heart, he seems to be in pre-leukemia. He is in very poor health and insists on going out on the tractor to cut hay without shade or water.
My Dad's sister who has been in the nursing home is deteriorating according to the doctors, and my Dad and his other siblings are having to decide what to do. She recently had a bout of pneumonia that nearly finished her that was caused by aspirating food into her lungs. It was good news when she learned to swallow again, but if that is dangerous ad the feeding tube remains out, that's it. Please remember my Dad's family.
If you'd remember my Mom and my aunt the nurse as well, I'd appreciate it.

Wow. Lot of people going through hard times. Kind of makes me realize how little problems I actually have. Anyway, I'll be sure and pray that God keeps them all strong and gets them through it.
