Hey guys. Next Thursday I have an appointment to check up on my hearing again. I'd appreciate your prayers.

For those of you that are not sure of what's going on, last summer I tried to enlist in the Army, and the day when I was supposed to enter Basic Training I found out I had hearing loss which prevented me from shipping out. Long story short, I was discharged and then last October I saw a hearing specialist to confirm whether or not I truly had hearing loss. Well, I do. His suggestion was that I protect the hearing I still have left.

Which leads to now. I'm going back to have him check my hearing again, 'cause in my opinion the ringing in both of my ears seems to have gotten worse. I've also experienced humming and buzzing in both ears, and sometimes the ringing sounds like a tuning fork is placed right there against my head, or the ringing persists longer than like 30 seconds.

So I'd appreciate your prayers, in that I find out what I should do about my hearing, and if the treatment is costly, that the Lord will help me and my family pay for it. Thanks!

Hmmm.....your condition is very similiar to that of the famous Ludwig von Beethoven. But, getting on track, I will pray for you, dear, and I hope you feel better soon.

Pray I don't become like Beethoven. Yes, watching a movie on DVD with subtitles is helpful, but when you can no longer hear voices, sound effects, or the musical score, that can really be frustrating.
