prayer room, eh? ... i could use some prayer.. almost everyone in my life currently could use some prayer... where do i start?

my youth pastor resigned/got fired. she is the most amazing woman i have ever met. she's Godly, she's beautiful, she lives to bring people, especially youth who have given up, back to God. she has this disease that will eventually kill her, so she lives everyday as if it's her last: fully and for the Lord. she's the most honest Christian i've ever met. and, almost randomally, our senior pastor, and one of her mentors have turned their back on her. they're making up lies about what people have said, and they're not giving her blessing and freedom to do what she does best, which is bring the lost back to their Shephard through her music. this isn't the first time she's been attacked by people who think they know what they're doing. i'm not so much asking for prayer that the other pastors will get their act together, although that would be nice. i'm mostly asking for prayer that she'll be alright. she's sick... she's dying... and she doesn't need to be attacked by the devil in this way too.

my new roommate slash best friend just lost her cat, mr. flash. doesn't sound like a big deal, but if your entire family has betrayed you, and a beautiful grey four year old kitten was your only friend, and you had to hold him while he died...well, you get the pic. those of you who have/ have had a pet will understand just how it feels. she's really taking his death hard... she needs to be encouraged and loved... and i don't know what else to do for her. she's also very sick... which doesn't help any

and i... well.... i'm depressed about... something. i'm hoping that it's just me being over tired and over worked, as usual. i guess for me, just pray that i'll get rest, and physical healing so i can use my brain again fully. (i do have a brain, and i do use it... shocking, i know *wink*)
i guess that's all... thanks everyone.

I'll keep you all in my prayers. I know sometimes it seems like everything is falling apart at the exact same time, but stay strong and know that God is always there to pick up the pieces when you least expect it. Remember, prayer, exercise, talking to people, and reading the Bible are some of the best natural cures for depression. Be praying that God will be watching over your youth pastor and that she can eventually resolve things between her and your senior pastor. I know how hard it is to lose a pet that's a like family to you, that's been there for you when no one else was, so my heart really goes out to you friend as well.

P.S. Your avatar rocks. Man I love cows...

I'll be praying as well.

As for Mr.Flash, we lost our cat, Turbo, this past winter in a freak accident. And yes, we witnessed it, and held him until he died. It still hurts when we find ourselves looking for him. He was a 12 year old kitten, and Sara had him since he was just a few weeks old. So my prayers will be with her and her feline confidant...

Yeah, I've lost pets too (a hamster, 4 gunea pigs, many lizards, and a dog). Though they are just animals, it sure is hard when they die...

As for the depression thing, we all go through that at some point. Just whatever you do don't let depression win....remember that you will always have someone there for you...even if it doesn't seem like he is listening, he really is..........But it's always at the end of a period of depression that we understand that....

I'll pray for you....
