i may have mono. i went to an after hours and the doctor a DO said they didnt have a way to test it. i tested negative for strep but the she said i smelt like strep so she gave me amoxicillin(sp?) in case it was strep or flu cant remember which and if it was mono i would get a rash. this after noon i went to my real doctor, an MD. she said it was too early to test and if i still felt bad come monday to come in and theyll do a blood test. she said to not take the amoxcicillin because if it was mono it would make it worse. she had no clue why the DO prescribed it. looking it up on wiki i counted about 5 symptoms so who knows.

i have mono ;_; we went to the doctor tuesday and apparently it showed up postivie imediatly. i also have a trip to DC from the 29th to the 1st but the doctor said i should be able to go. the one good thing is now my friends cant shank me.

I pray that you heal quickly, and that your friends don't shank you...

Out of curiosity, I only know of three definitions for the word "shank" and none of them make sense in that context. What exactly do you mean by that?
