Prayer for financial aid

Postby Kai Robin » Thu Mar 15, 2007 10:51 pm

Hello everybody!

Lets cut to the chase. I live my life in a 12x12 box, with my laptop and a broken guitar. Yay. I've been jobless for the last 4 months even though I've tried earnestly in my efforts. I have applications in place at 11 different places with poor results. To put it bluntly, I tried to get a job at Wal-Mart and failed the personality test.

Recentely I just finished my training and got hired on as a student-by-student basis instructor at LearningRX . I get my first student next week, but one simply isn't enough. If y'all don't mind saying a word for me could you ask the Big J-Man to dump 5 or 6 on me? And for a second job to come through? I've been socially withdrawn for over a year now because since I can't afford a car to go anywhere, can't afford to go to college (I didn't make any good friends during my one semester there) and the only real friends I have are scattered across teh globe and I have to chance they'll be online (I was a military brat). So yeah, any help would be appreciated.

-Life in box doesn't rock my socks.

Thanks!

Lord, I pray that you will speak to Kai and remind her of the Scripture in Matthew where you say that the sparrows and the lillies don't work for what they eat or wear, but still You provide them with it and that we, human beings, are of more value to You than many sparrows or lillies.

Matthew 6
25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? 28 "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. "

May You provide her these needs that must be met, and help her to remember to seek You first and that all these things will be added unto her. And help her believe and have faith that You SHALL provide.

"The Just shall live by faith"

In Jesus Holy Name,
Amen

I'll be praying for you...

I'll pray for you. It's disappointing when you don't get results after giving your best. If it makes you feel any better, I've had college semesters where I didn't/couldn't make any real friends either. And that's OK because I found good friends eventually.
