CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

So....Mike(my fiance`) has been having family troubles, savvy? And Mike and I are going to NC starting the 2nd of March, returning on the 10th for our missions trip with the Trinity drama team (Imitators), savvy?

Well....

Today, Mike got a court summons to appear as a witness on the 5th or the 6th. Meaning no NC trip for him and meaning I can not be there for him. HOWEVER he told me that his grandparents receieved an ultimatum to be decided by Tuesday. Either his grandpa confesses to something he didn't do and the trial happens during our NC trip or he doesn't, gets alot of extra charges pressed onto him, and goes to jail BUT the trial gets postponed. At this point, I don't even know what to pray for cause I want to be with Mike during the trial but we already decided that if it meant skipping our Imitators trip, that I would go on the trip instead because ministry's more important. But I DON'T want Mike's grandpa going to jail OR pleading guilty to a crime he didn't commit. So...please pray earnestly for God's will to be done and for Mike and I and his family. We're going to go see them on Sunday. Man this stinks.....

This sounds really complex, and it's probably even more so that it appears. Well, maybe God just wants you on that mission trip alone...

Today was very heartbreaking.
Mike's grandfather is not going to plea guilty to a crime he never committed so...on Tuesday he'll be thrown in prison until the trial....where he's going up against 32 of the most ridiculous charges I have ever heard. Mike will be on the witness stand and I am PRAYING the trial gets postponed so I can be with him. If even one of those 32 charges sticks, it'll be enough to send Mike's grandfather to prison for life, leaving his wife with no house, no income, and no health to get a job. Everything they have has gone to the $50,000 needed for the lawyer and now he's demanding another $20,000 more.....
Mike and I are both taking this very hard seeing as today was the last day we'll see his grandfather on this side of the bars unless he's proven innocent. His attorney thinks it's impossible, but we as Christians know better. God can do the impossible and he can clear Mike's grandfather of these horrendous and false accusations being brought onto him. But it was sad today to watch them struggle. They're so afraid of being separated...they are the sweetest couple I've ever seen ....and despite the outcome of this trial, they are losing their house as way to pay for the lawyer.
Please keep praying for them and for us. Right now...we need a miracle only God can deliver....


Thanks to all of you praying! We'll know Tuesday what's happening on the missions trip......*sighs* This is just...so much to take in...

Oh wow that is not good at all v_v... But as you say, nothing's impossible for God^^ Glad He's the righteous judge of all. I'll continue praying...

You won't believe what happened today! Mike got a call from his grandparents and the trial got POSTPONED to the week AFTER Spring Break!!! HOW COOL IS THAT?! Now he can come to the missions trip! All he has to do is call the attorney tomorrow to be sure he's not needed and he can go so pray that works out! Praise God!

Woohoo! He can SO do the possible, even when things look VERY slim and possible of happening^^ He's too amazing^^

Well...after a VERY stressful day where we thought Mike would surely be unable to go on the trip due to the judge not giving an official postmonement, we got a call LAST MINUTE that the trial was postponed and MIKE'S GOING TO NC WITH US!!! PRAISE GOD!!!

The weird thing is that the trial didn't get postponed to just the next week like we thought it would be...it got postponed to the next MONTH possibly even the month after THAT. So...I'm wondering....what's going on?

But anyway please pray for our missions trip and thank God everything worked out! Thank you all so much for your prayers! God really does do all for those who ask!

Well, that's good. It was really awkward praying "Lord, this is really a mess. Could you just fix this, please?"
