Dear Prayer Warriors,

Please remember me in your prayers tomorrow. A nasty ice storm is sweeping through Texas, even as far south as Houston, and forcing me to gear up and head back to school tomorrow--4 days earlier than planned. Please pray that any bad weather I encounter will not hinder me and that the Lord will keep me safe (I hate driving in even a little rain, much less freezing sleet!)

Thank you everyone for your prayers. I did indeed arrive safely, but not after some crazy, nasty weather. Keep praying for us, though; the roads are still really bad and I'm in the middle of moving.

??? Um, Ashley, you're only supposed to take one whole carload of stuff to college, not several trips.

Yeah! You're supposed to make your parents store a bunch of stuff for you until 10 years later when you have a basement to put it all in. *ahem* Not that I've done that, of course...
