My uncle's on another rampage.

EDIT: Totally rewrote it. I've calmed down, and I can explain better.

My uncle Pat has gone off on another one of his rampages, calling various members of the family and yelling, leaving hate messages, and just being a jerk. He does this every so often, this is the 2nd time this year, I believe.

I don't really know if rampage is the right word. He has sort of a twisted version of reality in his head, and distorts reality to fit it. He thinks all of the family hates him, and is out to get him. It can lasts for days or weeks before he'll sober up (both literally and metaphorically).

He doesn't really yell in the normal usage of the word; his voice is louder than usual, but he tells you so calmly the ways he hates you, it makes you feel sick inside. It's like you wish he were screaming so then you could write it off; it's so much easier to tune someone when they're yelling.

He was doing okay for a while. We have a picture with him from just a few years back when he was visiting, swinging in the backyard with me and my brother, and I remember hugging him goodbye and saying "I love you" and regretting that he had to go home. If we saw him at the door now, we'd call the police, possibly fearing for our lives if he were drunk.

Can you imagine what that does emotionally to our family? I answered the phone once last year when he was in this state, to hear my aunt sobbing because he was at her mother's house, and she thought he was going to kill her mom. I feel sick thinking about it. I can't really describe how my mom feels about it; imagine your little brother (or sister or whoever) growing up and acting like this to you, it must be unbearable. The same goes for my grandpa, I think he's taking the hardest hit. Pat is his son, and he is threatening his sisters, my grandpa's other children. I can't imagine seeing my own son like that.

There is more I could say, and I could say it better, but I'm tired and upset. If you could keep him in your prayers, please; he needs them.

Thank you,
Maxwell

Perhaps now is not the best time for the 9-year old to be answering the phone...

Praying.

oy, it's hard to imagine that, I can't imagine that by my little brother cause I'm too afraid. I'll pray this doesn't sound good.

Is he saved? ( I know the thread makes you doubt it but still, let's not curse him incase he is. )

I don't think we should curse him regardless, but no, I do not belive he is.
