yeah. i have decided to take the step of water baptism. i'm going to be baptized in a week and i need prayer. pray that i won't mess up on my testimony. and pray also that God will speak through me and that what i say will glorify God's name. also pray that i won't be too nervous. i'm not good at public speaking and i'm starting to get a little nervous. thanks.

yeah. it's good that my dad's gonna be the one baptizing me so we can sorta...go over it beforehand.

Can't be worse than mine^^ I TOTALLY stuttered through mine :/ Although a week later I was asked to do the same testimony at a youth town gathering thingie (and I did warn them too that I stuttered the first time, but by luck, I didn't that time^^) But anyhow...

Anyway, don't be nervous! Leave your nervousness in the baptismal pool, and realize that you're coming from that water a completely changed man with a new way of walking and a new way of talking! I'll be thinking about ya!

Just don't soak the pastor...9 times out of 10, he's already been baptized.

yep. tomorrow, when i get back from church, the first thing i'm gonna do is update my signature with the words "I got baptized!!!!!"

well, i did it. i got baptized. it went very well. i spoke clearly when i shared my testimony and i didn't mess up when i went down into the water. thanks for all the prayer and support guys.

afterwards, i came back home and we had a whole ton of my relatives over for a big lunch. my grandma cooked up a feast and we had the leftovers for dinner. it was great.

Well said, KBS! And this is a Catholic talking. As you may or may not know, we Catholics are usually baptized at birth. But we have Confirmation as a "back-up" sacrement. ANd let me share in that rejoicing, Anna Mae!
