On Dec. 13th, my uncle fell off a ladder while trimming a tree and he fractured his C3 & C4 vertabre and 6 ribs. The doctors put a neck brace and he is in a lot of pain. Can you please pray for him and his family.

Update on my uncle, he did walk on his own so we are hopeful, but the doctors think some where down line he'll need surgery.

Well, at least he's doing better^^ I'll keep on praying for him though. Best to avoid surgery, of course, but if it must be done...

Another Update: My aunt said my uncle got a staph infection in his lungs and they (Doctors) are pumping him full of antibiotics. And he does need neck surgery so right now they are dealing with the Staph infection first then they do the surgery next.

I'll keep udating every few days.

Wes' original neuro surgeon came back today from vacation. After yet another X-Ray to confirm Wes' neck was not in any immediate danger of slippage, he suggested that Wes go home and let his lungs heal. Wes has had ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome) and MRSA type Staph infection in his lungs. Each day he is stronger. The risk of complications from neck surgery is greatly diminished when your lungs are healthy.

Sooo, thank you all for your cards, calls, e-mails and visits. Stay tuned for the latest developement.
