What's Wrong With This Picture?!?!?

Imagine, if you will:
Couple, Mr. A and Mrs. B. Married, 3 kids.
Mr. A cheats on Mrs. B with Ms. X.
Mrs. B receives support from people at church.
Mr. A comes to church and repents.
People at church shun Mr. A, won't even say hello to him.
Mrs. B decides, "Since you cheated on me, I'm cheating on you back!"
Mrs. B cheats on Mr. A with Mr. Z.
Mrs. B, while still married to Mr. A, brings "boyfriend" Mr. Z to church.
People at church welcome Mr. Z with open arms, while continuing to shun Mr. A WHO IS STILL MARRIED TO MRS. B.
So again:
What's wrong with this picture?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
(Mr. A and Mrs. B are my parents, in case you couldn't tell.)

Double standards. Tit-for-tat behaviour. If I am missing anything, let me know.
Oh, and, adultery.

Man, that sucks... That church sucks pretty bad, too... Tell the people at church if they don't forgive your dad, and if they even endorse your mom sinning RIGHT BACK, then their own sins won't be forgiven... Remind them of the parable of the servant who had his debt erased, who later refused to erase a fellow servant's debt... His forgiveness was REVOKED and he went to prison until his debt was repaid. That is a major mess.

I agree with Bobtheduck on that one.

personally, while I can understand why Mrs. B would want to get some EMOTIONAL support from people at her church. Why would she get a whole church involved in thier marital affairs anyway? just a thought. Church groups these days give themselves too much authority in judging others. not defending either parent. what both of them did was way wrong. but it should be a matter that should have been between Mr. A and Mrs. B.

I don't see why. though this should really be classified as a "prayer request". obviously,
Animus Seed and his family could use some prayer right now.

no matter what happens, you have my sympathy, animus seed, for having to deal for this kind of stuff. i had to deal with my dad cheating on my mom once, and there's still mistrust. i cant imagine what it must be like for you. and on top of all that, your church isnt helping matters at all. if you want someone to talk to pm me, k? ill be praying for you.

I second what carneman says. you are in the Prayers of my wife and I.

I'm moving this to the prayer forum, and I am going to ask that everyone keep their responses supportive and not take the opportunity to start bashing churches or whatever else. This is a family hurting and in need of prayer, not judgment or outside opinions on what should have happened, ok? Let's be there for our brother by reassuring him we'll be praying.

I believe you meant to say "vengeance," but regardless, let's not go down that road. Heed Ashley's post, everyone: No judgment, just supportive comments and prayer.

i completely agree that it must suck for you and i'm here for you to talk to as well dude.
I agree with Ashlee. Just cause one church does it it doesn't mean all churches are that way. It was wrong and i think all agree.
