An excerpt of an e-mail I sent to the one who led me to Jesus, a Christian friend:
------
I've got a question: Now that Kayla's back by her father, does she go back to Riverdale?

I'm in a Family dilemma, my father is breaking appart just because of me... it has to do with school. The school is costing my father A LOT ( I'm talking about the tenthousands area ) and it only brings back a fraction of how much it costs. Well, my father is ready to shut it down, because I'm not working hard enough ( I'm the only reason he sacrifices so much for it, if it weren't for me the school would be shut down and his dream of a dreamschool shattered ). So its basicly me why he suffers so much. I learn the stuff I would in every other school just easier, I think I could take on Riverdale eventhough I had horrible experiances with public schools ( socially ) and I heard once from someone that Riverdale's students would be very badly behaved and all. Is this true? I don't want my father destroying himself because of me, but Riverdale's the only school I can go to if this one's shut down. I wondered if Kayla would still be going to that school ( since you said she's back with her father ) so I atleast could have a friend to hang out with and it wouldn't be as bad as I thought it would be. So is she? If not pray for another conclusion.

Please Kristine pray for this matter! Pray that if it is God's will that He'll save this school, if not let me go to a school that I can expect to not be a living hell! God just got me through a hard-core depression, I don't want another one to go through for now...

Thanks,
Your sister, Claudia
( I'll be praying for you as well. )

Another thing: he's not saved yet. :(

O.o what's a dreamschool? Are there other students at this thing besides you? Just confused a bit by this situation. I didn't notice any less (or more) social problems or teasing or bullying, etc., in my public high school compared to the private (church run) middle school I went to. Perhaps approach this with an open mind.

Well, my father isn't saved, but his school is based on having quality teachers ( some expensive ones let me tell you ), and it places emphesis on morality and certain subjects like health and experiential learning ( so that the students actually know what they can use school for. ), and special schedules based on the student. We have bad marketing, the school has like, 4 students so far ( with me ), and it's in it's first year.
The students seem to like the school ( in the sense of his father trying to put his son into a boarding school because of family problems, but the son wanting to stay in that school ) and one of the parents is amazed by how much her daughter has changed in this half year ( she has this illness that she gets stomach issues under stress and needs to vomit, she had far less of that since she came here, - and she's learning ) , telling all her coworkers about it.

I have never been to a public highschool, but throughout my middle and elementery ( ESPECIALLY elementery, -so it started early. ) schools I had very bad experiences. And I heard that Riverdale has a bad reputation for students....( even as a PUBLIC school... )

So yeah, thanks for all of you praying....:(
