YUUUSSS! I filled out the last of the paper work yesterday for Office Depot, and he said "Welcome to the family". Weeeee! ^^

Today Im going in to "training day", were I basicly watch interactive videos of sorts. My dad is even pretty sure I get paid for that...and Im not even DOING anything!

Even so, I will get paid 8 bucks and hour and this is my FIRST job! My boss said "Yes, we pay our employees more than McDonalds and BurgerKing." When I told my dad, he was like "WHAT?!?!" and "You are very blessed. You will get paid much more than you would flipping burgers".

Sorry if I talk too much about the money..its just that, when I was a pre-teen, I only got paid 10 dallors every 2 weeks mowing the lawn, and since the drout out here, you cant have real grass anymore. So, since 15 till I know, I never was really ABLE to do any chores, since just about everything you do involves water..for the most part.
Even worse, my best friend was racking it in by doing a whole bunch work I couldnt do cause of where I live, like taking care of horses, and such..


Anyways..Im SOOO happy! I will FINALLY get money establishment, and be able to prove that Im as responsable as I say. Not only that, I will be working in the technology department, meaning, computers, printers, software, networks, computer componets..things I LOVE!

I make 7 at wendy's, and that was my starting wage. That's more than minimum wage

Wow that's great to hear^^ God is so good! Not sure what minimum wage is in the states, and although I'm getting paid that much right now (with a 5% raise in about a month), I think at McDonalds and stuff here you actually get paid LOWER than minimum wage, for 500 hrs or soemthign like that. Can't remember how that went exactly...

It probably won't be the full 8 dollars, but you will be getting paid for being there.

I just got back from that, and it was confirmed that I do get paid for it. If it is the full 8, I just made my first 40 bucks! Yay for me!
