I will be getting my first job, soon. I filled out the application, got an interview, and all that stuff. I MAY or may not get the job (Target, if you must know).

I have two mixed feelings, here. Im like, "Hey, Im getting a job!", and, "Oh CRAP, Im getting a job!". Yeah, cool, Ill be finally getting my own income..but, Im afraid that it will be taking too much of my time. I think I gave them the impression that I will work longer than I actually WANTED to. I mean, that I can handle.

Not only that, but I MAY have to be GOING to work at 4 IN THE MORNING! Good news is, its right down the block from my house...but, still!

Just need alot of prayer.

When I got the job I have right now, I went from working during school hours to having weird hours. Two days a week I was leaving for work at 4am. It threw off my sleep schedule and messed up my social life to an extent. But I stuck it out, and I now have a much more accomodating schedule. So if you do get the job, just hang in there. It's tough at first but you will adjust. And hopefully if you show that you are hard-working you might be able to move into a better slot in the schedule. Anyway, I will be praying for you.

Well..last night, my mom said they are also building a Petco..thought, they just have a sign out, and the general building. nothing like doors yet, though.

-I would SOOO much rather work at Petco than Target!-

1. I LOVE dogs, and pets in general.
2. Petcos busiest is about as busy as Targets normal crowd.
3...NO CARTS!
4. I WONT be going in at 4 in the morning.

5....cute girls. ^^

But..Petco wont be accepting jobs before Target hires me, IF they do.

I would like to pray, that if its God's will, that I be hired at Petco, rather than Target. But, that would probably mean that I would have to be rejected by Target, which then I MIGHT not get hired by Petco. and I think I might, cause I dont think my interview went that well. I really didnt have much good to say about myself, which would make me no more valuable than any other teen looking for a first job.

I would get to be amoung the first to apply to Petco, unlike Target, which would give me a better chance, right?

Well, I just REALLLY want to go to Petco!!...eeehhh.

How about we pray that you do your best at your first job (Target). That way, when you apply for the job at the PETCO place, you can say you have held another job (however briefly) that you didn't get fired from. Especially if the job required weird hours. That way they'll know you're reliable.

I dont think you quite get what I said...
I dont have the job yet, I just applied. I could, or could not be hired onto Target. Im HOPING that I would apply and be hired onto Petco before Target hires me, IF they decide to.

I went down to look to see if Petco was accepting applications yet, and I saw the the new Office Depot was also hirring. I was just getting information about it to keep it in mind, when this guy, who was manager of the new, not opened place, came out and greeted me.

I, of course, mention I was interested, and he was actually kinda more interested than me. He was very enthusiastic about it all, and thought Id be good at it, specally when I mention the position Id be good at. He was like, "OH, great!". He told me all about how to get my application. He seemed very much like he wanted to get me hired.

This may be where I will work. While others simply simply interviewed me, and said we'll call you if we need you, hes greeting me with open arms. I kinda have a good feeling about this. It has a nice slow, unchaotic atmostphere like Petco, but has the cool technology gatdgets and comuters I love. I could SO work there. It may not be Gamestop, but its still awsome. ^^
