Knee problems again

As some of you know, I used to be a dancer, but I stopped due to knee pain. Well I am in physical therapy now and it's been going well. Except the past week it's been hurting really bad again. The worst of the pain tends to be at the back of the knee, and the physical therapy has been helping with that, but now I'm having pain on the side of my knee. And all this is happening just when I was starting to want to dance again. I was thinking about going into dance ministry, but I'm starting to feel really discouraged about it again.

Knee problems are miserable. My sister had to stop dancing because of them. I'll be praying...

Yeah, we've talked about our respective knee problems a little. Thanks for the support.

I've had knee problems for years too. Got MRI's done a couple times. Found nothing. However, I finally got custom orthotics - and that's pretty much fixed the pain. It's very rare I have problems anymore. (Although, the initial adjustment period, when I was getting used to the orthotics, made my knees hurt real bad, but that lasted a week or so and then I was fine.
Might be worth looking into. Because now even when I'm not wearing them, my knees do fine. (Though I wouldn't suggest going extended periods without them.)
But I'll be praying for you!

I can relate, because two years ago, I tore my ACL, a VERY important ligament in the knee. It took me about six months to get anywhere moving normally(without the splint or brace through physical therapy) and a few more before I could start at Taekwondo. I'm still doing it, though I know I have to favor it.
I said all that to tell you that I can empathise with your pain. I'll be praying for it.

Orthotics fix the alignment in the knee, but they say my knee is properly aligned already. Thanks for the suggestion though.
