My dad

Last Tuesday, my dad went for his stress test and the test didn't do so well.
His heart rate didn't go to the level that it should have or what the doctor feels is fine.
So, this Friday. My dad will have a cath (sp) done to see what is going on.
The news is, it may mean that he will need a pacemaker, which would be the good thing. Since I know that would be an easy surgery to do, since I have one.
Or it could be something major with his heart and maybe a block in his artey (sp) and that could be a major surgery.

The good news is: better to find about it now than when his heart wasn't able to do the job. After this is fixed, he will probably be stunned at how much better he feels. Praying.

Sorry to not post any update on this.
I have some good news. My dad had the cath done on Friday and there is not block in his arty (sp) or anything else going on.
The heart doctor said that after going in there and looking around. That it was due to one of the med that he takes that is making his heart rate low or that is what he thinks. So, the doctor has cut the med down and has giving him somehthing to help make the blood flow better.
Now if comes down to it and that doesn't work. The heart doctor said, they may have to put a pacemaker in.
So its really good news to hear.
I have a pacemaker and I know its a minor surgery to do and you are up and running in no time.
We are all glad that he went to have this cath done, because we know its not a major thing going on and he feels better about knowing that too.
Thanks for the prayers and I will post about my weekend later.
