I need prayer for my cat. My parents found her all lethargic and sickly, she couldn't walk. They took her to the vets office, and the vet did all kinds of blood tests and put in an IV. The weird part? The vet says kitty got into some Marijuana. So kitty was high. And had a little too much. o.O

She's still recovering, they said she actually tried to eat today, but she can move very fast and her eyes are still bugged out(kitty usually has her eyes half closed...). Pray that she'll recover...I hate it because I'm not there with her...

The vet said that with all the rain in my hometown recently, lots of odd plants can come up. And apparently cats treat marijuana plants the same way they treat catnip plants. The cat ate it. Aside from the vets theory, there is the possibility that someone in the area is growing it...

Oh yeah...more than 1 cat disappeared that day...my brother's (Valkaiser's) cat was one of them.

I don't know if they've found my bro's cat yet or not...I can't get a hold of my family today. So I don't know how kitty is...and I'm worried. But I think they would've called if something had gone wrong...so maybe she's still ok...

My parents called...kitty isn't getting better. They're calling the vet tomorrow to see if he can do anything. I really, really don't need this right now...

That is certainly an odd situation. I know how hard losing a pet can be. I will be praying that kitty gets better soon. And that the presence of the marijuana gets figured out.

Oh poor kitty. (marijuana... ?...yeaaaah. Serious as this is, I have a very strange image of a cat being 'high' in my mind). I'll pray for ya Q. Hope you find the other one too. Hmm... maybe you should try keeping your other pets (if you have more) in doors for awhile until the stuff washes away a bit.

Update: According to the vet, kitty will make it through this...but...she may be brain damaged for the rest of her life. So...yeah...poor fuzzball...

As for my brothers cat...it hasn't come back yet and it's been too long. There's really no reason to think it's still ok. My brother isn't taking this very well.

Btw, USSRGirl, I have way too many pets to bring 'em all in the house. But the cats were the only ones in real danger out there...I just hope the last big cat doesn't find any of the stuff...

Q, Aww... I'll keep praying for ya. I would devastated if my cat was lost, probably continue searching till I find myself somewhere in Tibet. O.o Just keep an eye on the other kitty...
