I need some guidance...

Hey all, I just wanted to ask a favor - that you help me pray for guidance.
A couple months back, I felt clear guidance from God to start a graphic novel. (I hesitate to call it manga, because I am not Japanese. :) ) Anyway, as of recently, I've started to get other ideas, and an opportunity came up that, although it had to do with drawing, it wasn't a comic. Now I feel like I want to do more stuff like that, and I'm not sure what God wants me to do. I'd assumed that since he told me to work on the comic, then that's what I should do. But one thing or another keeps coming up that keeps me from working on it. And I'm feeling way more inspired to draw pictures other than this comic. So, is it a distraction from Satan, or is God trying to point me in another direction for the time being?
I just want to do what His will is for me. But I want to be absolutely clear on what that is. So please just pray that I receive the answer soon. Thanks! :thumb:

As I have no clear advice to give either way, I'll simply pray God shows you the way! ^_^

A minister once explained to me that there are lots of good things that we can do as servants of God. Just as God gave us freedom to choose Him (or not), as faithful Christians we have freedom to choose from a "menu" of godly pursuits. Keep focused on Colossians 3:17 "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." If what you choose is godly and you are able to give God the glory, you do well - there is NO sin in that.

I sometimes wonder if Satan gets a good laugh when we are distracted by agonizing overly much about which GOOD deed to do. ;)

Anyhow, it seems to me that God will work His purpose one way or the other no matter what you choose off the "menu". He's clever like that :)

Note: I'm assuming that either option would be pure, wholesome, etc.

Believe me, I'm a stickler for "doing the right thing"; but I also wholeheartedly believe God wants us to enjoy all the cool GOOD things life with Him has to offer. Whatever you choose, "go for it", get busy, enjoy it.

There's more I could say on the subject, but I'll spare you the long version
