CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

I should start by saying I have no desire for political controversy, but a Nazi rally is going to be held in my city and it is worrying to me. I'm not exaggerating or throwing around names, the group is the National Socialist Movement, and they still wear the old brown shirts and use the swastika. While I wouldn't usually be worried about a fringe rally, my city is known for activism, the occasional riot, and hatred of Nazis and everything they stand for, plus the rally is going to take place just a bit before school starts, meaning students will be here with no classes and lots of time. I simply ask for prayer that there will be no clashes at this rally and that all involved will behave themselves so no one will be hurt and no attention will be brought to this fringe group. Also, prayer for those involved in this would be in order as well, that they would realize the error of their hatred for so many people based on the color of their skin.

Oye, that sort of thing usually causes a mess...there was one of those in Texas not long ago...I'll be praying.

It hasn't happened yet, it's scheduled for the 26th. I'll give an update after that.

Ooops, soory, I was finshing my thesis at the time and forgot to update ya'll. Many thanks for the prayers, things weren't perfect, but they could have been much worse. The Nazis came, and they were overshadowed by counter-protesters who were, from my understanding, shouting obscenities and seemed torn between protesting the Nazis and protesting current political issues. The counter-protesters also got out of hand, and while the Nazis were probably inflammatory, no one was really able to tell because the protestors drowned them out. In fact, counter-protestors were arrested while none of the Nazis were. I'm glad there were only a few incidents, but it is sad to see Nazis being better behaved than those trying to counter them.

I'll be praying for you, and that great that you got your thesis done, I am still in high school =)
