Once again, God hit us with a bummer.
As you know, I'm going to college here in FL simply because I qualify for a 75% tuition scholarship if I go to school in state. However, because I'm going to a private school to study evangelism, we just learned yesterday that the scholarship will not pay 75% of my tuition, but, rather, a set sum which is barely 25% of my tuition.
If you've been keeping up with my family, we are running dangerously low on money and this new development does *not* help. I was banking on that scholarship to help me get through college but now....
My fiance`, however, has decided he will use the money he is making to help me get through college, something I was hoping he wouldn't have to do, but he's insisted because it "gives him purpose" in making money. He's a true blessing from God, he really is.
Also my mom recently got a trial surgery for her RSD that involves eletric transmissions through her spine to help keep her from feeling pain. So far, it's working and if it keeps working, she'll get it implanted permanetely. The downside is, if she doesn't turn it off when going through store sensors, they'll shock her. That's one lesson I bet she'll learn REAL fast. Please pray this goes well, because if she feels no pain, she can continue teaching and we need that money.
And of course, pray our house sells. Stupid house.....
On the upside, i just learned that Billy Graham graduated from my college. How cool is that?????????
