Back from the trip.
My grandad does have cancer and it looks like it could be more then one cancer. From what I know, it looks like it has spread though his body at a very fast rate.
Now to top all this off. Today, I get a called from the doctor about blood test from the last check up and it looks like the aids meds may not be working anymore. Heh, if its not one thing that you have to deal with, its another one.
So, I'm going tomorrow or today really and have a follow up blood test.

Another update about my grandad.
Things have gone from bad to worst with my grandad. He is in a lot of pain and is getting very weak.
He has bone cancer that is called Plasmacytoma.
Multiple myeloma is a cancer that affects white blood cells called plasma cells. Each year, an estimated 13,000 Americans are diagnosed with the disease. Plasma cells and other white blood cells are part of the immune system, which helps protect the body from infection and disease.
When myeloma cells collect in only one bone and form a single mass, or tumor, it is called a plasmacytoma. In most cases, however, according to NCI, the myeloma cells collect in many bones, forming many tumors and causing other problems. When this happens, the disease is called multiple myeloma. Although plasmacytoma and multiple myeloma affect the bones, they begin in the cells of the immune system.
Patients who have a plasmacytoma may be free of symptoms for a long time after treatment, but many eventually develop multiple myeloma, according to NCI.
I'm afraid that he doesn't have much longer to live.

My grandad is now in the hospital. His kidneys have started to shut down and they feel that most of his organs could shut down soon too. He is not eating much and he hasn't been to the bathroom in days now.
I wish I could say that he will get better, but I feel that its only a matter of time for he will pass on.
The only good news that I have has to deal with me. I got the blood test back on my tcells count and vrius level is. My t-cell count is back up and a very high level that it hasn't been in like a year. My t-cell count is in the low 400 range and the virus is below 50 range, which means that is very low in my body that its really doesn't show up in my blood.
