just checking in again for an update:

for those of you who remember, i moved in with my grandma a coupla months ago to help her out (she has health problems). it is still difficult to wait on her constantly, but through my service the Lord has been teaching me patience and how to control my temper. God has really blessed us as we've been working together- i'm learning to joyfully serve, my grandma is learning to be patient with my futile attempts to help her out while still having some kind of life outside of my grandmas house. Praise God, her health is much better- she no longer sits at death's door and has begun a cardiac rehab program.

i'm requesting prayer because since it is no longer the "tourist" season in my area, people have not been staying at the hotel where i work and my hours have been cut- drastically. i just got a raise, and im still making less than i would have been in august. pray that the Lord would give me wisdom on weather i should get a second job, and pray that He would "help my unbeleif" so that i can fully trust Him because from where i stand, the meager paychecks im pulling in now are not going to get me to college.

hah! this is the first time in two months or so that ive been able to check in two times in one week!

i have another thing to add.... a praise report this time!!

my pastor said that he feels that God is calling me to go to murrietta so forcefully that the church is willing to pitch in 500$ for my tution!! that pays for my first term!! IM GOING TO BIBLE COLLEGE!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!

and im getting a second job either at the local skateshop or at this new coffee stand here in town, so i should be able to put away more money for second term.
