Teaching Sunday School

Postby KBMaster » Sat May 27, 2006 4:26 pm

My sister and I have decided to give the children's director(who has not gone to church on a Sunday in over a year) a break and be circle leaders for the day. Normally, I am a circle leader every other week, but I never teach. My sister will be preparing the snack class while I teach the lesson. This will be my first time teaching, so please pray that everything will go well and that, well, I don't totally botch the lesson, lol. Thank you!

You will do fine...I will pray.
Jeremiah 29:11-"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord,"plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
"All the world's a stage and all the men and women merely players; they have their entrances and their exits and one man in his time plays many parts."-Will Shakespeare

Well... how did it go?

Well, I stuttered, I repeated myself and I got Peter and Cornelius mixed up. They had fun at the first part, though, when I asked them who was least likely to become a Christian(the point was God's love is for everyone) and we got some pretty interesting responses(gollum and orcs from LotR, zombies, Jews, garden gnomes, goths, etc. etc.). Thank you for all your prayers! ^^

Sounds like things didn't go too disasterously. Good to hear.
