Falling away from God...

I know I haven't been on in a very long time. So many things have happened. Lately I've been feeling a stuggle over my heart. Satan is trying his hardest to get me to follow him, while at the same time, I can feel salvation shining through. It's been very hard to fight with lately and emotionally draining. The more I read the bible the less I want to. And I think part of the reason why is because I'm confused. Romans 1:17 says "The just shall live by faith" but Romans 1:22-27 is talking about God giving the unrighteous up to sin. It is talking about homosexuality and I am NOT a homosexual, but I have a friend who believes she is. And I have another friend telling her it's ok when I'm tellingl her it's sin trying to claim her over. She's very confused. She is a very strong believer in Christ and the word says that those who practice those kinds of acts are not allowed into the kingdom of heaven. So I am also very confused =_=;;; I've tried listening to God but I just see a barrier between us so I can't hear him. I need some serious prayer and so does my friend. Please pray for understanding and wisdom for me to know what these scriptures mean
thank you and God bless! :3

I'm sorry, but I think you're taking things a bit too seriously here. God's not going to just talk to you through the radio, TV or just some person walking up to sayin "Hi, God here, just thought you should know..." You know what I mean? Sometimes prayer is simply a one-way conversation, but faith makes it 2-way. Whenever I do a heavy prayer, I get eveything off my chest, let it all out, and let faith do the rest.
And your friend will do what she wants. You can give her all the advice in the world, but in the end, it's her decision. The nice thing about God is that he gave us free will, so that we can worship him anyway we want. If your friend wishes to be gay, then that's her decision. That's the beauty of forgiveness. My advice? Tell her that you think it's not exactly the right thing, what she's doing, but that you're still her friend, no matter what. That will speak volumes, right there.

We all feel a bit confused sometimes. Keep praying, reading and studying yourself and God will give you a clear answer regarding those verses.
2 Peter 3:15b-16
—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.
If its any consolation, even Peter knew that some things were hard to understand in Paul's letters. I'll pray that God would give you wisdom.
