Mission's Trip- New Orleans and Daytona!

hey guys! first of all I would like to let you in on the 411. This summer my youth group is going to New Orleans to help with the Katrina victims! We are going to be participating in street ministries and helping rebuild some of the houses down there! After we spend a week in New Orleans, we're headed to Daytona Florida. We are going to participate in Youth Quest 06! Also when we're down there, we are going to do a skate-boarding ministry! It's going to be awesome! Also this is my very first missions trip! I am soo looking forward to it. God revealed to me that I was suppose to go. I continued to pray and pray and then God started sending confirmations. The trip is $1400, and I was kinda concerned at first about the money, but I placed it all in God's hands. Well we leave for New Orleans in July and I have $1245!! God truly has provided for me! He is soo awesome. The prayer request is that we will do His will downthere and stay focused. That we will touch people's lives because of sharing the good news. Also that I recieve the rest of my funds! And for my team to be blessed just like me, even more! Thanks for the help guys!

that's awesome! ^_^ I hope God moves through you and your youth group in an extreme way! And that's sweet about the funds, I've had that happen to me many times where people'd send me anonymous checks and I'd be able to go to retreats and camps that I wasn't going to be able to, God rocks my hypothetical socks *since. . . I'm not really ever wearing socks* off! and there's no lack of funds for His children ^_^

hey guys! I've got an update on the missions trip!!! Just like an hour or two after I posted this comment, this lady stopped me in the hallway of our school and donated $50 more dollars towards my trip! Only a $100 left, God is soo awesome! thanks for yalls prayers!! tell me some more stories of some missions trips yall been on! if u have any!
