Thanks guys, for all the prayers!
OK, as far as I know, I think I did quite well on the chemistry test. I won't know for sure until I get my grade back this Friday though. And my speech went well too-- except, my teacher's pet peeve concerning my is when my hair gets in my eyes (I used to have short side bangs, and they'd get into my eyes ALL the time, so I'd have to pin them back.) Anyways, I've been growing my hair out some, and it doesn't really get into my eyes anymore, so I didn't bother to pin it back this time. Well, as soon as I got up there, guess what happened. . . yep, somehow, some of my hair got over into my face. I couldn't sweep it aside with my hand, because I knew that'd just draw more attention to it, so inwardly, I was just like, "Aaaah, shoot. . ." So everytime she'd look down to write something on my grade sheet, I'd do the head jerk real fast to get them to the side, XD! They kept getting back in the way though, it was weird and obnoxious. Anyways, other than that, I think it too went well. Once again, thanks for praying! I'll just add though that this week I'll be taking my chem. final, so, if you guys could keep me in your prayers for one more week, I'd really appreciate it! ^_^
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.
Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;
Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.
Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.
High King of Heaven, my victory won,
May I reach Heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.
