my grandma is in the ER =(

Postby livewire » Fri Mar 17, 2006 12:00 pm

I am really worried right now.
My grandma needs prayer really badly.
My grandma is a heart patient with Emphesema and she also has an aneurism. The day before yesterday she was having severe chest pains and my mom took her to the ER. She stayed in the hospital overnight because she had blood clots in her lungs. Then, they let her go home.
This morning, I decided to call my grandma to see how she was doing and no one answered the house line. So, I called my grandma's cell. It went directly to message, so I called my moms cell and it also went directly to message.
Then about an hour ago I tried again to no avail, so I called my sister, Kazekami, who just called me back and told me that she was at work and hadn't heard back from our mom. She told me that this morning my Grandma was coughing up blood and so my mom took her to the ER. They are still there. My sister told me that they can't use cell phone's in the ER because it messes with the heart machines.
She told me that she will call me when she finds something out.
I am so worried.
I know that all we can do is pray.
Please pray for my Grandma...

Lifted one for her. Please keep us posted.
Theme Scripture: Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

And a verse for all us single folks: Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? (1 Corinthians 9:5)

Brett: "Doesn't matter. It's going to change anyway."

Brett: "Why do they call it tourist season if you can't shoot them?"

Thank you for your prayers...just got an update from my mom....
She said that they gave my Grandma a breathing treatment and are going to keep her overnight again. Then they are going to give her a test to see what is going on.

We'll keep praying -
Dear Lord, help the doctors to find the root of the problem here, they're professionals for a reason, and you care about every one of your children, Lord, bring her through this in wonderful shape and bring her back to normal and show your power through this and in your precious name - amen.

update!
my grandma is home from the hospital. It turns out that while she was in ventura she caught a chest cold from my cousin's fiance...which turned into Bronchitis.
Thank you all for your prayers. They are very much appreciated.
We in my family are just grateful that my grandma didn't have another heart attack.
However, this is still dangerous because she has emphysema.
Anywyas, thank you.
