Hey there! A couple Fridays ago my Grandma fell down & fractured her hip. Then last Tuesday she was transfered to a Rehab Center. Been staying in the hospital & Rehab Center w/ her. (Hence why I've been offline so long!)
The good news is that her hip surgery went extremely well & she's making great progress in her rehabilitation therepy sessions. I won't be able to get online very often to do my work, let alone have fun with you guys. I'll post when I can & look forward to hangin' with you all soon!

ya thats good she is feeling good and that the sugery went well I will pray for her so that she can fly threw rehab.....

Thank you everyone for your concern, prayers and replies!
We're still both in the Medical Center for therapy for her hip/leg. Its nearly 2 weeks now. Please pray she'll be able to walk w/ or w/o a walker within the next 2 weeks we both can just come home. As well for her to come to Jesus too.

Grandma's making great progress, but I'm starting to go stir crazy. Please keep us both in your prayers. Thanks everyone & I really miss you guys!
PS. If anyone knows of any ministries for Nursing/Rehabiliation homes, please pm me the info. "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.", is really true in these places.

Updates:
Grandma's doing well. Starting to walk w/ walker w/ supervision in her own room/ not in therapy sessions. And because she's doing better we've changed our strategy yesterday. I'm staying w/ her every night & my mom is with her during the day. This way I'll be able to catch up on work, etc. Plus, last Friday was 1 month anniversary of Grandma's fall. Thank you all for your prayers & replies.
There are visitations, but the real problem is the day to day needs of just someone listening, caring & facilitating things for the patients. The Nurses, Aids & staff can only do so much. I do what I can, but there's a real problem there & figured I wasn't the first to see it.

Thanks for your continued prayers everyone!
More good news, since Monday she's now on her walker by herself! Still working on strength & balance. She can go around her room & short walks by herself, but she's allowed to use the wheelchair for long disences, (like to the nurse's station, etc.)
Correction on the last post, Mom & I are switching out days & I'm still staying nights. But hopefully soon I can go home at nights.

Tonight's the first night that's Grandma's by herself, (she decided so today)!
Please continue keeping her & my family in your prayers. As she's been getting better physically, she's been getting more depressed &/or angry. I don't quite understand why, but it could start setting her back again.

The last month's been full of medical, (& emotional) ups & downs. The good news, Grandma's coming home this Friday. She'll be getting outpatient therapy.
For at least a couple of weeks or a month, I'll be working mostly at home to help her.
But please keep us in your prayers, she's still dealing w/ other medical conditions that are causing complications. Thank you everyone!
