I'll pray for you Zach! Just keep working hard at your relationship with God, and make sure that you stay in His Word. There isn't any temptation beyond what you can bear.

Yeah dude, I'll pray. It's really good that you've realized what's going on, because too often we bury our mistakes by trying to justify what we want to do. Seek the Lord for the strength to overcome.

Thanks for sharing. First, I want to say, don't forget what God says about you in His Word. As a Christian, you are a child of God. You are a friend of Christ. You have forgiveness of all your sins. It's not by our works, but by His grace and because of Jesus' death. But Jesus' blood wasn't weak, and it didn't save us only for the times we're good. It was powerful enough to cover our sins!

As children of God, it's no longer our nature to sin. That's not to say we can't ever stumble and commit a sin; as long as we're living in this life we'll still have to contend with our fleshly desires and we may still stumble from time to time. But God doesn't see us as sinners hanging by a thread over hell; He sees us as His redeemed children.

If there are sins in your life, bring them to God. Ask Him to forgive and admit that you need help to overcome it. The Bible says that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. It's no longer our nature to sin. But if we do slip up and sin, we have One who speaks to the Father in our defense, Jesus. And His defense is that He died for our sin. The Bible also tells us that we can cast our cares upon the Lord, because He cares for us, and that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us and will grant our request if we ask knowing this.

Like Yumie said, stay close to God and in His Word. The Bible tells us that if we draw near to God, He will draw near to us. He desires for us to draw near to Him. With the stuff you're going through right now, I'd recommend reading Psalm 139, and also reading through the books of John, Romans, Galatians, and 1 John. (Obviously that may take a little time. Getting through the trials of life sometimes take time, but once we get through those trials we can often see how God has been faithful to us.)

Lifting you up, bro, and if you need to talk to someone, my PM box is open.
