Okay now that thats over with back to my story well i called Tori and Kinzey and Kinzey never answered so i told Tori ALL about everything and tell her NOT TO TELL ANYONE and so first she goes off and tells tiffany who i dont really like so much i was like well she doesnt go to our church so w/e and then i tell her NOT TO TELL ANYONE again so tonight we go to decipleship and that goes smoothly UNTIL the end of it then we start talking about the public school winter formal and (a differant) Sarah (not lathans hookup) is like talking to me i said i was worried about it she asked y and i was gonna tell her but tori blurts out ISSAC and so i take her into the hall (sarah) and tell her whats up well by the time i get back into the youth room Kevin, David, Jonathan, and Elizibeth all know :bang: so now i dont know what to do i cant trust her at all ne more how do i tell her this?
Please pray that i can forgive her and just pray for her in general she has lied to me enough i dont know how we could be friends anymore please give advice.

Situations like these can be confusing and frustrating. I think everyone has had a friend tell someone something that they probably weren't supposed to, so you're not alone and this definately can be worked through. I would recommend doing the Matthew 5 thing and do what you can to make ammends with this girl and forgive. But remember, how you say something is just as important as how you say it. Furthermore, I would say don't get too discouraged if she tries to minimize the whole situation. Just do what you can and give it to the Lord. I'll be praying for you.

Learning how to identify friends who can keep a secret and those who can't is part and puzzle of life. I've had my share of secrets made public and while I was upset at that time, I did get over it eventually. I certainly didn't trust those individuals anymore but that doesn't stop us from remaining as friends (strange as it sounds). I just don't tell them too much anymore.

I'll pray for your feelings to sort out and God's peace to be upon you.

Believe me, Shakespeare knew well what he was talking about when he said in Romeo and Juliet that for the purposes of keeping a secret, the wisest amount to know about it is two (except for it to be kept to the self of course), with three being the most it could be stretched with a gamble.
