CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

I got some strange IMs today involving a young Christian girl. Her uncle won't let her go to church because he's a practicing satanist, and he won't even let her go to school because they teach religion there (including but not limitted to the Bible). He even went so far as to take the Bible her mother (who is kept in a hospital nowadays) gave her and burn it, so she has no hardcopy of a Bible. He even goes as far as to lock her room's door from the outside at night so she can't get out... I'm 100% possitive that's child abuse and a terrible fire hazard. He wants her to grow away from Christ and into "Lucifer's army" to dominate the earth, she says.

I'm asking for serious prayer here. She's only 14 years old and doesn't have a lot of Biblical knowledge, but I see zeal for that in her.

Wow, that is rough. I will definatly be praying for her. I hope she can get out that situation somehow. Does she have any other relatives she could live with?

(I'm not good at this but God can use even the most clumsy prayer for His Will.)


Dear Jesus,

I lift up this young believer to you. I pray that you send your warrior angels to protect and strengthen her and provide her with peace that comes only from you. Holy Spirit give her strength to live each day for you and to be a witness to those she meets. I pray that her uncle's heart is softened to your words and that he comes to know you. I also pray that she keeps her focus on you and your promises and that "all things work for the good of those who love Him." Please let her feel your loving prescence surrounding her and drawing her near. I also pray that she recieves a Bible to help her in her walk and that nothing can seperate her from it and you.

Wow, indeed. I will pray that this child can walk with Christ and that the uncle can't stop her from reading the Bible.

o.o wowzers..that would be a tough thing to deal with. I'll pray for her.

yeah, she doesn't want to really do anything about it cause her dad ran off and her mom is hospitalized (not sure why, but it seems that she's been that way for quite some time), and she feels obligated to stay with him cause he buys her internet and other minor things and doesn't physically harm her...

Did she just IM you out of the blue, yet she doesn't want to do anything about it? Her mother is in the hospital and her father ran off - so she lives with an uncle that's abusive?

This store seems a bit suspicious to me, but I deal with trolls on a daily basis. Maybe I'm just reading to much into this.

I thought about that, too, Mith, but either way I'll pray for this.

Indeed, it does sound suspicous, but just in case, I'll pray and also post on the Prayer List.
