Hey all,

Please be in prayer for my mom. She fell on her head this past weekend at my grandma's house on ice. She spent most of Sunday afternoon in the ER; thank God there was no brain bleeding and the X-rays revealed no breaks, but she does have a concussion. She works in accounting at a health care facility, and just yesterday one of the nurses noticed her pupils are dialated and have probably been since the accident, which could be a sign of eye damage. Our family doctor talked like any damage can probably be repaired, and she's probably going for a CT scan today (something our family doctor said they should have done in the ER). The accident could have been much worse, but still with what we found out yesterday, it's kind of a scary situation.

Also, please be in prayer for me and some folks involved in an upcoming business decision, for wisdom and God's will to be accomplished.

That is a scary situation. That reminds me of the time my mom slipped on the ice and broke her arm. Praise God that this accident wasn't more serious. I pray that she heals quickly.

Thanks, all, for your prayers and concern. Just a quick update... the CT scan turned up normal (thank God). Also the pupil dialation seems to be gone. But she is still dealing with a lot of headaches with this. So she can still use your prayers in the recovery.

How is she doing? Also, how did the business decision go?

No problem. I'm praying everything will get better.

Thanks for asking on both things. My mom is doing much better. I believe she has gone a few days without any headaches from it.

Well, we still haven't heard back from the other party, so I don't know if anything is going to happen with it. We may have some other opportunities in other areas, though (the whole thing of where God shuts one door He opens another, perhaps). So please continue to keep us in your prayers.
