Sad news....

My parents put our dog down today. She was twevle and sick so i suppose they did her a favor but i disagree because of what i've heard about how the needle works.

My parents took it hard and my little brother is kinda the same about how i'm taking it (pushing the fact away untill later) My older brother doesn't act very well when there's a death but he does show it cause he's gone all over protective about digging a hole for her.

So if you could send your prayers to my family its appreciated.

Thx

I'm terribly sorry about your loss, Kiba-kun. I totally understand what you're going through. I lost my dog, who I had for almost 14 years, not too long ago and it absolutely broke my heart. You and your family are in my prayers.

I feel for ya guy. Seriously. We had our cat put down earlier this year...filled with Cancer. It hurts so bad, because you start to think of your critters as family members after a while. Time will heal, as much as it hurts right now. Take comfort in knowing your pet did not suffer. I will be praying for you.

Thx SH. but from what i've heard about what the shot does i'm not so sure if she didn't suffer. It feels weird not having Winter right by my feet.

*pats your back softly* It's okay Kiba. It's feels terrible though, I know...I lost two of my dogs quite a few years back, one had an unoperational tumor, and one was becoming blind and deaf...after having them around since I was born and then suddenly...gone...was one of the worst things in my life.

My first dog was put down 2 or 3 years before my other dog had to be put down at age 15 where the other was 17. I wasn't as terribly heartbroken as my sister was because she grew up with them.

I now have an 8 year old huskey/wolf pup that I've grown up with and I love so much...I only hope she'll live for as long as my family does.

It hurts Kiba. I feel for you.

You have my prayers...
Hum, I don't know if this will help or not, but I have a friend whom use to work in animal control, and he disclosed to us that the shot is actually very humane. The only discomfort felt is the initial shot itself, and then the dog doesn't feel the rest, but instead falls unconsious as if in a deep sleep.

I hope this will bring a little closure, if anything. I'll continue to pray for your family however.
God bless,
Archan
