Stress and unbelief...will you guys help me out?

Hey guys I'm back again!

Well, today I have two things that I'd like to request prayer for. The first is for my best friend and her family. Yesterday, her father had a seizure (he had been sick for a few weeks) and now she's found out that he's dying. Her mother is getting so stressed out from taking care of her husband and her autistic son that she's started smoking. I care for these people so much, and it breaks my heart to think of what could happen to them.

Now for the second....

I was just surfing DeviantArt a few minutes ago, and stumbled upon a person who submitted a piece with the words "The bible is fiction...life is not the x-files." His description was "Do I have something against Christians...? You bet I do!"

Life is most certainly not like the x-files but we weren't all put on this earth by chance either. It makes me want to cry at the realization that so many people, whom God loves with all his heart won't be making it to heaven with us. Sadly, that simple phrase turned out to be his most favorited piece... :(

Please come into agreement with me and pray for this devastated family and lost child. They need the love of God now more than ever.

God bless you all!

*close eyes and puts on a pair of ruby slippers* There's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like home. *Opens eyes and looks around* Darn! not there yet!

I will be sure to pray for your friends family. It's times like these when you get a glimpse of the real world that us as christians wish we were home in heaven.

Your have my prayers, or rather the family you mentioned. I'll pray the God grants this mother peace, and rest, and heals the father and helps the son to understand whats going on. They all have my prayers.

I'll also pray for this artist you mentioned, that God opens his eyes and that he understands God's love for him, that just because things exist in this world that are extraordinary, doesn't make them ficticious, including the extraordinary God we serve.

they both have my prayers, keep us posted.
God bless,
Archan

I shall pray as well. Too many people choose the wrong path. But even the wrong path is not hopeless. God can use the rough times to awaken with us a realization that we need to get right with the Almighty and straighten out our lives. Or we may need to hit rock bottom before we turn to the only one that can lift us up out of the pit of sin and shame. I pray that this world will turn to Jesus, and that we all turn to Jesus for that matter. It is needed now just as much as it ever has been needed.

Mark 6:34
“When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.â€

I will pray for the mother of this family, that she will have a state of relaxation.

I will also pray for this gentleman who can't come to grips about God. It saddens me greatly when a person says that. I always remember this quote from God:

"Only a fool says in his heart, there is no God"

I'm praying God will open his eyes and see who He really is.
