Friend of mine...

Not giving names... but someone whom I am online friends with, and who I've met in person... thinks she has lung cancer. She's younger than I am, and.. she's VERY not a Christian.
She just told me... and I'm... in shock... and worried... and feeling helpless. I want to pray for her to live, but I'm not sure God will listen, and as far as reaching her for Christ... I'm pretty useless - Never had anyone that I know of find the Lord because of me... (I think that maybe I'm a seed-planter, that I get people to think), but yeah, I feel pretty useless.
Pray for her please. Maybe God will listen to one of us.

I will definitely be lifting a prayer. I'm so sorry. I know it must be hard for you, and for her.

Things like this are tough. If you are a seed-planter, then you are in God's plan for your friend's salvation. Someone else can come along and water but God gets the increase (I Cor 3, I think). You continue to love her and being a friend to her and you'll be amazed how far your witness goes...
My prayers are with you and your friend.

Bringing this up again lest people forget about it...
Talking to my friend tonight. Her doctors give her a 6 month esitmate...
She's also been feeling suicidal... and I'm just worried. I want... so much good for her... but... I worry. I don't even know how to deal with this.

Well, I figure people won't be praying right at the moment, as it's almost 3 am...
But, I figure maybe God will listen to prayers prayed later and help me and her out now?
My friend is in one of her suicidal moods, talking to her, and I'm afraid to go to bed, because I'm afraid she'll do something to herself without me to talk to, and I'm soooooooooooooo tired.... I'm afraid I might be a bit incoherent with her, but I want to help her and nothing I say works, and she tells me that she wants to die for my sake so I won't worry about her
Gah... I wanna go to bed.. but I can't until I know she's going to be at least somewhat alright for a while!
And she can't seem to contact anyone in her immediate physical area...
I'm exhausted, and worried, and going freakin' insane...

Which is exactly what she needed, to know there is someone else out there.
I'll keep your friend in prayer.

I'll definately pray for you and your friend. It must be so hard, but just try to remain strong by your friend - I'm sure God will give you the strength to help her.

I'll pray for both your friend and for you to have strength and guidance. You're a wonderful person to be such a good friend to her right now!

Not too good. She tells me that she constantly feels wretched and she moves slow... and hyperventilates sometimes. I'm praying a lot... and I'm just depressed about this whole situation. I want her to feel better.
She told me that someone said to her; "So, you're dying. Get over it." So... she's been depressed, too. The idiot who told her that needs a good smack over the head.

I'll pray!
I know what you mean, I recently met a girl who is younger than me online as well. She is not a Christian and has alot of problems at home. There are even some issues of her father abusing her and her siblings. So pray for her as well!
