Well there is some good news and bad news.

First the good news. The fever and chills stop and he just had them for one day. He did start going to the bathroom a little, but its like a up and down thing.

Now for the bad news. Today, he hasn't use the bathroom at all. The doctor has tried everything, as eatting such foods or drink stuff that would make him go to the bathroom, nothing has work.

He is going in for a cat scan and try to find the problem that way. He in alot of pain, since his back is really hurting him and he just hurts for what it he says is like gas build up.

He had the Cat scan and just a few mins ago, got a call from what they found from the Cat scan.

Now we know what the problem is, he has a cyst on this kidney.

Is that easily removable, being on the kidney? I don't know too much about cists, but I know my mum had a few in her back and got them cut out fine.

I am praying for you and your father. Please keep us updated as things progress. How is your family taking the news? Is anythign known about the cyst? A cyst, in its self is not bad, but obviously there are test that need to be run.

As far as going to the bathroom, what about a natrual laxitive?

That may work, Taka. But laxatives in the long run can cause problems.

I hope the cyst can be removed, bro. Also that it's not coming apart.

Well, he has tried all of the laxitives and they haven't work that well.

But he going to the bathroom a little better, since the doctor give him some med today.

And everyone in my family is taking it well. I'm worried a little, but I'm not going to let this get me down. All we can do is, pray, have faith and let the doctors do their work for now and hope that it's not cancer cyst.

My dad will see an urologist in Nov, I think the 14th and see what they are goign to do then. But I would guess they will do a biopsy on it and make sure that it's not cancer.

I look kidney cysts on the net and I don't feel to worried about this after reading it.

Kidney cysts are almost always benign (not cancer). Usually, the cysts cause no problems. In fact, people can go through life without knowing that they have them.

Now this is causing problems and I guess he may have sugery, but we will see.

Well, here we go again.

Gout has came back and now it looks to be something is more wrong then what we thought.

Last night, my dad's other foot started to hurt. The gout has came back, but it's in his other foot. Now this leads to that he may have more problems with his kidney then just the cyst that is on his kidney.
