CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

I really REALLY need some prayer right now. Division has struck in my youth ministry and I can really feel the pressure of the Devil weighing down upon me. It has become a very nasty situation and I just pray to God that His will be done in my church. God has used me in ways I never could imagine in ministering to these teenagers, but the Devil is trying very hard to destroy this ministry. A couple of my students have turned from roses into thorns, but what is even worse is that someone is aiding their rebellion. The pastor, several others, and I have felt a dark hand in motion here and I am going to meet with these students tomorrow night. Please pray that the meeting goes well and that the Devil won’t win in harming this ministry.

Lord, please heal this wound that has divided Your church. The body of Christ should be one unified body, and I know You want us to be unified much more than we do. I pray that you would dispell the darkness that is invading that church and bring the students back together in Your name. The church is for edification, not tearing ape\art, and I pray that You would honor HolySoldier's efforts to bring these studends closer to You. Bring the focus in that youth group away from petty issues and back to You. Thank You Lord, for the work You are about to do in that youth group.

Lifting you up, bro. Sounds to me like the Lord is using you and this ministry to impact these kids, or Satan wouldn't be trying to fight you like he is.

Something like this happened once in our youth group, though it was more of a division between the group and the leader, but the point being I definitely know how it is. I will pray that God will heal your group and give you wisdom how to handle the situation and remain a strong wittness to the kids, and that they will seek God's will for their lives and listen to him.

I have been through something similar in my church. Rely on God. Thank Him for what He is going to teach you through this difficulty. -I will be praying.

PRAISE THE LORD!!! Good news! I met last night with the parents of the troubled teenagers and the meeting went wonderfully. The parents apologized for the children's behavior and expressed how much they wish to work with me to correct the issue. One of the main reasons they wanted to meet with me was so that they would get the other side of the story (more then just their daughter's opinions) and try to nail what exactly is the problem. So my initial fears were wrong. They said that they were truly blessed to have me as a Youth Minister and they plan on working with me in the future to help the building process of the new youth ministry. Unfortunately the one down side is that there is still an out side influence that is causing some serious problems. I ask for continued prayers that I will be able to minister to these two teens and help them come back to living for God and not themselves.
