Prayer request for a friend

I just found out that one of my close on-line friends, Kristy, attempted suicide. All I know is that paramedics got there and were treating her, but I don't know if they got there in time or if she's going to be alright. She told me she used to be a christian but then "rennounced" her faith and became an Atheist/buddhist. I was going to talk to her about why she decided to stop being a christian, but up till now I've been a coward :( and now that this has happened I hope I haven't lost my chance. Please pray that she'll be alright and that she'll regain her will to live, and pray that God will give me the courage to talk to her. I don't want her to die! *cries*

I'll be praying matie, not only for her that she'll pull through, but also that either you or another Christian close to her will be a shining light in the midst of her depression.

I will definitely pray. I know what it's like to have someone you know attempt suicide.

Tell her that G-d loves her, and of coarse I'll be praying for her!!

BTW:

"So we may boldly say:
'The LORD is my helper, I shall not fear, what can man do to me? '"
~Hebrews 13:6

Talk to her regardless of her current religious choices. I've never heard of Buddhism supporting suicide, so this religion shift is more likely a symptom not a cause. Looking for answers and not finding them. Problems. Just be there and pray. That's about all you can do if this is someone you only know on-line.

Praying...

Sorry for not bringing updates for so long. She's out of the hospital and she agreed to take advantage or her college's free counciling program, so it doesn't look like she's going to try it again soon...I hope. I thank everyone who responded here, and everyone who simply read it, for the prayers!!
